These informational web sites are part of a campaign to educate the voters and expose Pennsylvania state representative Daryl Metcalfe's fear mongering and the other tactics he and his campaign use against citizens of the 12th District of Pennsylvania. All of the items listed under public outrage are previously published "letters to the editor" and/or articles from the public.

The questions we pose are simple: "Are YOU BETTER OFF than you were prior to Daryl Metcalfe being your Pennsylvania state representative?" "Have the promises of State Representative Daryl Metcalfe been kept?" The resounding answer is NO... absolutely NOT.

Our PURPOSE is just as simple: To expose and, thereby free, Butler County and Pennsylvania from any fear mongering politicians who accomplish nothing positive for their citizens -- and, in our opinion, this includes current politicians who act like Daryl Metcalfe and past politicians similar to Rick Santorum (man on dog Santorum).

On Daryl Metcalfe's own official campaign web site (under the government button), the following is stated:

"The founders of our great nation sacrificed to give us a Constitutional Republic as our form of government, and intended for us to prosper in a free market economy. A common theme in our U.S. and State constitutions is that the primary purpose of government is to ensure justice, by protecting the life, liberty and property of the individual citizens of our nation and states. Our government's role was intended to be that of a servant and not a master. Government, with its tentacles of departments and programs, has cast the rights of the individual citizen aside to pursue its own agendas. Government must be downsized, restructured, and brought back to its assigned Constitutional role of protecting the rights of the individual. It should ensure justice so that the people of the Commonwealth may enjoy peace, safety and happiness."

REALITY CHECK: Since first being elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1998, Pennsylvania State Representative Daryl Metcalfe has a 10 year public record which indicates he has pursued a mean spirited Xenophobic and Homophobic agenda based upon his own personal interpretation of Christianity. How do these groups of PA citizenry "enjoy peace, safety, and happiness" in such an environment of hate mongering? Uh, our government was formed to prevent hateful religious agendas from terrorizing the common folk.

Daryl Metcalfe's original campaign promise and official web site states that his goal was to reduce the size of government.

REALITY CHECK: After 10 YEARS in Congress -- his promise remains unkept. Pennsylvania has one of the largest State legislatures in the country. Daryl Metcalfe blames the governor and everyone but himself for his own inability to keep his campaign promises.

Daryl Metcalfe's original campaign promise was to eliminate property taxes.

REALITY CHECK: After 10 YEARS in Congress -- his promise remains unkept; instead, we have Casinos to suck off the life savings of senior citizens. Again, he has accomplished nothing because he cannot seem to work or play well with others. Maybe he should look up the word "politicians" in the dictionary.

Daryl Metcalfe's original campaign promise was to do something about illegal aliens.

REALITY CHECK: After 10 YEARS in Congress -- his personal style of "working with others" has lead to no bipartisan compromises or laws and his promise remains unkept. (Do you see any pattern?) In his "SUMMER 2008" communication with his constituents, he calls the Governor of PA a "Drunk with power... Spend-A-Holic". Gee, we bet THAT kind of talk does not do much to help him accomplish things for his constituents. As a result of his rants, no one in Harrisburg takes him seriously and he brings home no bacon for projects that are important to his constituents.

Let's take AN HONEST LOOK at IMMIGRATION -- there are already FEDERAL laws which deal with it. The REAL problem is funding in order to carry out the directives involved. In critical states, this results in too few immigration officers that have hundreds of border miles per agent to patrol. .

Politicians play a particularly heinous joke on the public; they hoot about doing something, stall in passing it, and when they do pass legislation they never fund it properly. Just think about "no child left behind" -- great idea, but insufficiently funded. Too often, the Federal Government gravitates to insufficient funding for its ideas -- ideas such as sending our children to fight a war of choice without appropriate body armor.

So now politicians like Daryl Metcalfe are promoting building fences and walls around the United States. Uh, can you say "Berlin Wall" or the "Great Wall of China"? Millions (perhaps Billions) of your tax dollars to line the pockets of more Halliburton corporations while the "immigration problem" is NOT resolved. Let's all chant the FEAR MONGERING now "the immigrants are coming, oh my oh my; not in my back yard". That's about the extent of what Daryl Metcalfe has done -- CHANT about it. The question that we haven't heard ask is DOES PA have a serious enough ILLEGAL immigrant problem for it to really BE an issue? (The answer is a resounding NO.)

Daryl Metcalfe's style: as a Pennsylvania State Representative, Daryl Metcalfe has earned an interesting criticism by one of the local newspapers. Daryl Metcalfe's last name has now been transformed into a verb thanks to TRIBUNE-REVIEW columnist Eric Heyl who has stated in his newspaper column: "Let's Metcalfe for a moment today. For this column's purposes, the word is defined as wantonly engaging in acts of stupefying redundancy." (In English: Metcalfe WASTES TAXPAYER DOLLARS chasing Don Quixote windmills.)

The public has been A VICTIM OF DARYL METCALFE'S HOCUS POCUS; Politicians like Daryl Metcalfe do not want you looking behind that Wizard of OZ curtain or the smoke & mirrors of their rhetoric or politics. We say LOOK at a do-nothing Congress (on a local, state and federal level). That "plan" of blaming everyone but themselves for not ACCOMPLISHING anything is a tired and dated plan.

If you personally believe that less government is important, then consider this: if we can only elect the PRESIDENT for 8 years, why are we paying PENSIONS and HEALTH CARE BENEFITS to career politicians? What should happen is -- do your "public service", then go home and get a real job instead of living off of the "public" forever like a welfare rat sucking on the government's tit.

Take an HONEST HARD LOOK at Daryl Metcalfe's OBSESSION with homosexuals -- Eric Heyl adequately describes Rep Metcalfe in his article in the TRIBUNE-REVIEW, Sunday, April 23, 2006 entitled "Metcalfe's proposal needless, unnecessary" --

"The Cranberry Republican has been getting considerable mileage out of his recent bill calling for a voter referendum on a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage in Pennsylvania. Metcalfe is determined to ensure that marriage stays an uplifting, spiritual union between a man and a woman that only occasionally results in bitter unhappiness, clinical depression, mid-afternoon binge drinking, chronic infidelity, noisy late-night arguments, broken furniture, protection-from-abuse orders and violent, premature death."

(NOTE: PA law does NOT permit homosexual marriages. Do not be fooled by the fear mongering by"activist judges" -- YOU are the ones who elect judges and should be concerned with their activism instead of their judicial interpretation. Daryl Metcalfe spent at least 4 months of 2006, and many more in 2007 & 2008 -- beating this drum and trying to write discrimination into the PA Constitution -- wasting tens of thousands of dollars of your tax dollars instead of helping people by getting affordable health care or property tax relief legislation passed.)

TOO BIZARRE: In June 2006, Daryl Metcalfe told the viewing public (on PCNC's Night Talk program) that he "chose heterosexuality". HUH? If he chose, he must have had the option of at least two forms of sexuality... what was the other form of sexuality from which he felt he could choose?

What about LOVE? What church does this guy go to that allows him (and other segments of American hypocrites) to dismiss 10% of the population of this country who are gay? Does a loving inclusive God say: "I love all... oops, I mean almost all (no gays get MY love even though they are MY creation)".

Oh, and the Constitution that Daryl Metcalfe wants to enforce... we wonder if he ever actually read it. What about the equality that he drones on about? This is the 21st Century, not the Dark Ages. We the people know what equality is and is not. We the people know what love is and is not. When are politicians like Daryl Metcalfe going to get it? We the people know we are "We the People." We finally get it that WE run things. And just as the current administration will slither away into the night, so will politicians like Daryl Metcalfe end up on a soup line somewhere where "We the People" will see that he is fed.

You are free to embrace your own beliefs about any political issue, no matter how misguided, misleading or poorly researched they may be. That IS a right given to all by the Constitution of the United States.

Those voters and media outlets who have supported Daryl Metcalfe must accept the fact that they bear part of the responsibility and the repercussions of his well documented behaviors and his actions of hate and fear mongering. If you supported his hate mongering towards Muslims and gay folks, you are, at least in part, responsible for promoting intolerance and turmoil. That is not a pleasant thing to say to the voters or the media, but it is a reality that the voters of western PA must face. The ultimate power is in the hands of the electorate, and the electorate has only itself to blame for the policies and actions of those it elects.

If you claim to be a true Christian, then it is the view of the supporters of this website that you ought to look carefully at Mr. Metcalfe's actual and well documented record of intolerance. For many of us, he and people like him have replaced the love and kindness of Jesus with the wrath of a vengeful mean spirited God. We simply do not subscribe to that version nor kind of Christianity... but we should also fairly point out that the KKK version of Christianity does seem to support the same behaviors which Mr. Metcalfe has publicly exhibited.


We have no patience left with people who support or promote smoke screen lies, discrimination, and hate mongering.

It is our opinion that the current administration on both, the federal and state levels, are not only an embarrassment to the founding fathers of the United States but they are also full of hypocrisy and embarrass the people who originally voted for them.
